Marketing Data Analyst (Contract)

£400/day | Inside IR35 | 2 Months (Strong Extension Potential)Hybrid - 3 Days/Week in Office (London)

A leading marketing agency is looking for a skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join on a short-term contract, supporting media and marketing analytics across online and offline channels. The role is hands-on and insight-driven, ideal for someone with strong technical and analytical skills who can deliver real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse performance across online and offline media channels

  • Track media investment and provide insights to improve ROI

  • Run AB testing (including T-tests) to support campaign optimisation

  • Conduct customer segmentation and behaviour analysis

  • Optimise media strategies through data-driven recommendations

  • Work with Google Analytics to inspect code, event tracking, and user journeys

  • Use Python and statistical techniques for analysis and reporting

  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing analytics across multiple channels

  • Strong understanding of media tracking and performance measurement

  • Comfortable using Google Analytics and inspecting event-level tracking

  • Experience with AB testing and statistical testing methods

  • Proficient in Python for data analysis

  • Confident communicator with good commercial awareness
